April News

Hello everyone- hope you are all as excited as I am and enjoying the sunshine. April is a bit ‘quiet’ but still very busy. This month I will hold one presentation to illustrate what games/ exercises I play with the elderly in various care homes and how/ why they are so effective and beneficial – apart of making a lot of fun.
In addition, I am continuing working at the Millman Resource centre, Age UK Hammersmith as well as I am very pleased to announce that the Magic Mad Hat will be hosting sessions at various sheltered housing associations.
It has been a real experience to see the joy returning and be able to literally witness people lightening up. These lovely people are experiencing a great sense of aliveness and this in return enriches me with a feeling of rightfulness, a certainty as well as joy.
Enjoy the news and please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any queries or would like to book me.

Now for months you all have heard me talking about the amazing benefits games & exercises used in Improvised Theatre can have on elderly people including those with Dementia.
You might have even read any of my BLOGS,
BUT you don’t really know what I am doing?
Would like to know more, see it first hand and would like to find out why it helps to improve the cognitive abilities and therefore the quality of life for everyone?
I understand, that everything new which hasn’t got a statistical and scientifically  proven documentation can appear odd, silly or even ‘useless’. That’s why I would like to invite you to my live presentation. During this evening we will play the games and I will explain what purpose they have and how they can help.
I will explain in depth the concept behind the ‘playfulness’ and why Improv is more  than a ‘therapy’ (It is a creative art).
In addition, this evening will also allow me to find out more about you as a carer, family member or care home manager. I would like to know more about your needs and hope to show you that my service can match your needs and add value to your care.
This evening is for FREE, and there are NO STRINGS attached -I will not ask you to sign up for anything, nor will I try to convince you to buy anything. This evening is meant to have an opportunity of knowledge exchange.
